Preparations for the NATA Conventions to be held in the city of Dallas in June next year have started and with finesse!
In the board meeting held on October 22 in Dallas, there was a review about the upcoming NATA Conventions. The board conducted its regular agenda in the morning at Hyatt Regency, Frisco being helmed by President Dr. Sridhar Reddy Korsapati. He welcomed the members and thanked them for being part of the board meeting.
Dr. Prem Reddy Chair, Emeritus invited all the members and outlined the importance of the objectives and purposes of NATA as an organization. He felt extremely joyous with the board and how NATA as a whole is dedicating its selfless services to the Telugu community. Later in the day, the board took a tour of the Dallas Convention center, the upcoming convention facility downtown. The board was extremely pleased with the venue and the planned arrangements.
Past President of NATA, Dr. Raghava Reddy Goshala said that everyone is working together and explained to the guests that the upcoming NATA Conventions are going to be wonderful. On this occasion, all local NATA members in Dallas were directed to take responsibility and work hard to bring a good name to the NATA organization.
NATA President Dr. Korsapati Sridhar Reddy, who presided over the meeting, said that it is great that Dallas is the venue for NATA's upcoming NATA Convention. Similarly, it has been requested to make the NATA Seva Days to be held in India in December a success. He also said that Dr. Premasagar Reddy is also going to participate in the NATA Seva Days to be held this time. Dr. Korsapati Sridhar Reddy invited the NRIs who were in India at that time to come to Nellore, saying that Dr. Premasagar Reddy is going to be honored in large numbers in Nellore on December 26, 2023.
The fund-raising was yet another attraction. NATA President Dr. Korsapati Sridhar Reddy is a native of Dallas and has a good reputation among local people and many people have come forward to help financially for the NATA-2023 Convention and NATA board members also expressed happiness. An astounding amount of over $2.5 million was raised at the fundraising event in a single day!
Dr. Premasagar Reddy, NATA Advisory Council who participated in Convention Kick-off meeting as the Chief Guest said that the upcoming NATA Conventions are going to be amazing and because last year's Conventions could not be held due to COVID, Telugu people converging in high numbers to attend the convention.
Beda Mastan Rao, Rajya Sabha member who participated as guest, spoke about the many service programs being done by NATA. M.P Beda Mastan Rao explained the many welfare programs and development programs that are going on under the leadership of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and asked everyone to extend their support, adopt and develop their own villages to pay off the Janmabhoomi debt, so the government is ready to cooperate, so everyone has been asked to think big. He also expressed his happiness that he is happy to meet so many Telugu people here on this occasion.
Representatives of other local and National Telugu organizations like TANTEX, TPAD, DATA, ATA, TANA, NATS, TTA also participated in this meeting, and it was said that they will provide full support to the NATA Convention to be held in 2023.
