Naidu desperate to keep flock together!

Telugu Desam Party president and chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu seems to have sensed defeat in the assembly elections, though he has been putting up a brave front that his party would come back to power for a second term.

The primary concern of Naidu is to see that the party cadre does not get demoralized even he loses power in the elections.

He has been sustaining the party for the last 25 years singlehandedly and he has to continue it, if he wants to revive its fortunes after five years.

So, he is trying to keep the party in good humour. At a meeting of the TDP functionaries in Amaravati on Sunday, Naidu announced that the party had allocated a special fund of at least Rs 100 crore for welfare of party cadre per year. Readmore!

“Those who have been dedicating their lives, valuable time for the development and strengthening of the party will get benefited with this huge amount. This is the first of its kind service to cadre from any political party in the country,” he said.

Naidu said that he has been giving highest priority in the party to cadre and then only to the leaders.

He said that he would strive for empowerment of the party rank and file. Financially, socially and politically, the TDP ground level cadre must be proud and for that he would extend cooperation.

The TDP supremo said that the role of booth, village and ward level workers could not be underestimated in these general elections.

He said that leaders must emerge from villages and for that he will encourage the party cadre, who perform well at their respective villages and towns across the state.

Appreciating the service of CBN Army in the general elections - a contingent of about 80,000 dedicated young social workers of TDP - Naidu said that he surprised to see their hard work for winning of party.
