Naidu Cheating Kapus With Fake Quota!

YSR Congress party on Tuesday accused Telugu Desam Party president and Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu of trying to cheat Kapus by announcing fake reservations in education and employment.

YSRC political affairs committee member and spokesperson Ambati Rambabu alleged that as the elections were fast approaching, Naidu had been on a spree of announcing sops left, right and centre even without thinking about the practicality.

“The Centre has said that it will give 10 % reservations to Open Community which the TDP leader has been distorting and telling that he will be giving the same reservations for Kapu community and if need be, he would be passing a resolution in the assembly which is nothing but fooling people,” Ambati said.

He pointed out that the 10% reservation announced by the Centre was on the basis of economic standards keeping low income groups in view. Readmore!

“It is not a caste based quota which Naidu is trying to project and hijack the scheme,” he said.

He had also promised the women groups that he would be giving post-dated cheques before the polls while YSRC president Y S Jaganmohan Reddy had promised in the Navaratnas that the amount would be given directly to the women groups, who in turn would repay the loans and be debt-free.

He suspected that like in Telangana elections, there is a proposal to create hype through false surveys with the nexus of friendly media projecting TDP as a winner.

“But the truth prevails and people will teach a fitting lesson,” he said.
