TDP chief and leader of the opposition in Andhra Pradesh, Chandrababu Naidu, kickstarted his three-day tour in his Kuppam Assembly constituency on Wednesday.
He will be touring different parts of the constituency for the next three days and holding meetings with party leaders.
After the 2019 general election, this is the fourth time Chandrababu Naidu is touring the Kuppam Assembly constituency.
Naidu shifted to the Kuppam constituency in 1989, and since then, he has been winning consecutively from here.
He never visited this constituency even for filing the nomination or receiving the election declaration.
In the 2019 general election, for the first time, he trailed behind the YSR Congress candidate in the first three rounds.
Since then, he has focused on the constituency. His son Nara Lokesh and wife Bhuvaneswari have also visited the constituency twice each.
Chandrababu Naidu is constructing a house here for the first time ahead of the 2024 general election.
Naidu has also appointed MLC Kancharla Srikanth as the constituency in-charge and has instructed the rank and file of the party in the constituency to report to the MLC.
In the next three days, he will be holding one-to-one meetings in the constituency to prepare and motivate the rank and file for the upcoming general election.
