Naidu an anti-social element, says Home Minister

YSR Congress party leader and Andhra Pradesh home minister Mekathoti Sucharita on Wednesday described Telugu Desam Party president and former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu as anti-social element who is trying to create law and order problems for his political gains.

Speaking to media after Naidu’s drama at Benz Circle, Sucharita alleged that Naidu was instigating the farmers of Amaravati and creating law and order issues only to gain personal political mileage.

“Naidu cannot survive without power even for a minute. After facing a humiliating defeat in the last elections, he is feeling like a fish out of water. That is why, he has started enacting a new drama in the name of Amaravati, even before the government took a formal decision,” Sucharita said.

She alleged that the TDP chief was interested in protecting the lands of his benamis in the capital region by creating a law and order problem in the region. Readmore!

“He is playing cheap politics and intentionally created a law and order problem at the Benz Circle in Vijayawada today by staging a drama with all his supporters and his supportive media,” she said.

Creating problems in Vijayawada by Naidu only goes to prove that he is trying to foster goonda raj in the region by his behavior.

“The police has always been calm to such provocative acts by Naidu,” she said.

The so-called 40 years political experience and his term as a two-time Chief Minister have gone awry with his anti-social behavior, said the minister and added that Naidu was behaving like this as he was not able to tolerate the popularity of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
