Anil Sunkara is back in news. “Chanakya”, his latest production starring Gopichand, is out now. But he is hogging the limelight for his other big production – “Sarileru Neekevvaru” starring Superstar Mahesh Babu.
He is reuniting with the superstar for the fourth time. He first got his break as a producer with Mahesh Babu starrer “Dookudu”.
A self-proclaimed Mahesh Babu’s fan, the producer has diversified interests.
He runs several businesses in the USA and also runs an engineering college in Vijayawada and Raju Gari Thota, a Dhaba in Suryapet.
Talking about “Sarileru Neekevvaru”, he said he excited about teaming up with Mahesh Babu once again.
“When you work with Mahesh Babu, you enjoy the experience every minute. You talk to him and sit with him all your worries go off,” Anil Sunkara said. “He is our hero.”
He also informed us that the film has already completed 75 percent of the shoot. “We have songs and few more episodes left to be canned,” he added.
When we broach the subject of paying the highest remuneration to Mahesh Babu, the producer on record has denied the news reports.
It was said that Mahesh Babu would be getting Rs 50 Cr remuneration for “Sarileru Neekevvaru”.
Anil Sunkara replies, “didn’t pay a single penny. He is a partner in the movie. He is one of the producers, so he will get money from the profits or business of the movie. The more it does, the more he will get.”
