Social media attacks have begun against Jammalamadugu MLA and BJP senior leader Adinarayana Reddy, who is known to be close to the TDP and Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.
His “mistake” was just one statement; saying the present coalition rule in Andhra Pradesh feels “Kamma-ga” (Kamma-centric).
That single comment has triggered massive trolling from TDP-linked social media handles, especially from Kamma community supporters.
At a BJP programme in Tirupati, Adinarayana Reddy recalled how poet Gajjela Malla Reddy once described NTR’s 1983 rule as “Kamma-ga” in a sarcastic sense.
He said the situation today is similar and added, “You know what Kamma-ga means,” drawing loud whistles and applause from BJP workers on stage.
Those remarks have now turned into political ammunition.
TDP social media supporters are attacking Adinarayana Reddy, posting sermons about the “greatness of Kamma community” and accusing him of betrayal.
Many are saying, “Kamma people protected you when YSRCP was in power. You became an MLA because of Kamma support. How can you now sit under BJP’s lotus and mock the same hands?”
Several posts are tagging Chandrababu Naidu and Nara Lokesh, demanding action against Adinarayana Reddy.
Some are accusing him of opportunism and saying he is “biting the hand that fed him.”
Others are even claiming that without BJP at the Centre, TDP and Jana Sena would not survive in the state.
What shocked many is that a leader seen as close to Chandrababu openly used such language, indirectly admitting caste dominance in governance.
While such allegations usually come from the opposition, this time they are coming from within the coalition circle itself; making the controversy even more damaging for the ruling alliance.
