After the recent meeting between YSRCP president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and TRS working president K T Rama Rao created political furore in Telugu States and gave a weapon for TDP leaders and AP CM N Chandrababu Naidu to flare up 'Andhra sentiment' against YSRCP in Andhra, it is reliably learnt that YS Jagan is not in favour of meeting TRS chief and Telangana CM KCR before AP Assembly polls.
After Jagan-KTR meeting, both the leaders told a joint press meet that KCR will visit Amaravathi soon to meet Jagan to discuss on TRS and YSRCP working together in forging Federal Front at national level.
However, more than Federal Front initiative, the Jagan-KTR meeting fuelled speculations of YSRCP, TRS working together in AP Assembly polls to oust Chandrababu.
This meeting gave armour for TDP to provoke AP people on regional grounds.
Sensing this, Jagan is learnt to have conveyed to KTR that he is not keen on meeting KCR again, at least before AP polls, as he does not want to take any chances before crucial Assembly polls and also doesn't want to precipitate the things further in AP politics.
As per TRS sources, KCR wanted to meet Jagan in the last week of January or first week of February.
Now, this meeting is likely to be delayed owing to political compulsions of Jagan in AP.
