Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and his Telangana counterpart K Chandrasekhar Rao have become 'promoters' of Swamijis in Telugu States.
Both the CMs of Telugu States have enhanced the 'market value' of Tridandi Chinna Jeeyar Swamy and Visaka Sarada Peetham Swami Swaroopanandendra, by visiting their ashrams and seeking their blessings regularly due to which both the ashrams are witnessing huge rush of people, who include powerful people like politicians, industrialists, realtors etc.
This is the analysis done by ABN-Andhra Jyothy owner Vemuri Radhakrishna on the growing influence of Swamijis in Telugu States in his weekly column "Kotha Paluku" published in ABN-Andhra Jyothy today.
Radhakrishna went on to say that some politicians, contractors, realtors etc are trying to 'influence' Jagan and KCR through Swamijis and get their works done from respective state governments.
Radhakrishna says people are approaching Swamijis for their works because Jagan and KCR have made their ministers and officials 'dummies'.
He says no one used to care Visakha Sarada Peetham, that was established in Vizag with the support of bigwigs like T Subbarami Reddy few years ago.
However, after KCR and Jagan turned his 'bakhts', the Sarada Peetham became famous all over. Radhakrishna says KCR giving 'too much' importance to Visakha Sarada Peetham has angered Chinna Jeeyar Swamy.
This led to 'cold war' between KCR and Chinna Jeeyar Swamy.
However, with the involvement of 'middlemen' like My Home group chief Jupally Rameshwar Rao, KCR and Chinna Jeeyar Swamy patched up their differences recently.
Due to this, Radhakrishna says, KCR offered to hold Maha Sudarshana Yagam with Chinna Jeeyar Swamy in Yadadri soon.
