Major is going to be the most memorable film for hero Adivi Sesh, not just because it’s his first Pan India film. It’s his dream to make the biopic on Braveheart Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan.
He got the big backing for the project with Mahesh Babu joining as one of the production partners. That’s not all, Mahesh Babu has been there with the team for the promotions as well.
Sesh, during the trailer launch of the movie, stated he didn’t make this as a Pan India project as to increase the market.
“This film means a world to me and Major Sandeep’s parents mean the world to me. Major Sandeep is India’s son. We shot every scene and shot in Telugu and Hindi, to do justice to Major Sandeep’s life. Mahesh Babu gave guidance, strength and most importantly he’s like a backbone to the film.”
Mahesh Babu spoke extremely positive about the movie. The superstar who already watched the movie gave positive feedback. He said he had goosebumps while watching few scenes in the movie.
“After the movie got over, I didn’t speak, I was silent. I went out and was quite for sometime. I just shook Sesh’s hand and gave him a big hug. That’s how I felt. It’s a very big responsibility, when making biopics, especially when there is a story like Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. Like director Sashi said, it’s a very important story that needs to be told and I’m really proud of this entire team.”
The film’s trailer which was unveiled by Mahesh Babu got overwhelming response. This Sashi Kiran Tikka directorial will be releasing on June 3rd.
