Bathini Harinath Goud, the primary organizer behind Hyderabad's renowned fish prasadam tradition, passed away on Wednesday night at his residence in Kavadiguda.
According to his family members, he had been battling age-related ailments. He is survived by two sons and two daughters.
The Bathini family is well-known for their annual distribution of fish prasadam, a practice that has continued for 173 years.
This unique prasadam is believed to offer relief from conditions like cough, asthma, and other respiratory problems.
