How Did TDP Use Drones Over CM's Office?

The TDP leaders raised a lot of hue and cry over flying of two drones over TDP president and former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s riverfront residence at Vundavalli stating that flying of drones in the area was breach of security norms, as it falls under high security zone. Naidu himself made it a big issue questioning as to how somebody could fly drone over his residence without police permission.

“Are they trying to put my life in risk? It is a clear case of conspiracy,” he said. Readmore!

Now, as if giving a tit for tat response, the YSR Congress party leaders gave a complaint to the Guntur police alleging that the TDP leaders had operated drones during the visit of Naidu, along with his MPs and MLAs and party leaders to Amaravati capital region on Thursday.

YSRC leader Lella Appi Reddy, presently in-charge of Guntur parliamentary constituency, in his complaint with Thullur deputy superintendent of police, stated that the TDP leaders had used drones over state secretariat complex at Velagapudi which is a high security zone because of the presence of state assembly and chambers of chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.

“Operating drones without the permission of police in the high security zone is a crime, as it posed threat to the security of the chief minister and other public representatives,” he argued.

Appi Reddy said the inquiries have revealed that the drones were operated at the behest of TDP general secretary and MLC Nara Lokesh.

“There appear to be a big conspiracy behind usage of drones in the Velagapudi area. This conspiracy has to be busted and action should be taken against the TDP leaders,” he demanded.
