He Can't Run Tractor; He Can't Run Party!

TDP general secretary and MLC Nara Lokesh’s over-action by trying to run a tractor and narrowly escaping from being drowned in a canal at Siddhapuram village of Akiveedu in West Godavari district on Monday has not brought him any sympathy; instead, he became a butt of ridicule.

What is worse, the Akiveedu police booked a case against Lokesh for causing an accident with his irresponsible driving and also for violating Covid-19 guidelines.

Case was filed under sections 279, 184 and 54A of the Indian Penal Code and also under various sections of the Epidemic Act.

The YSR Congress party leaders have lost no time in making fun of Lokesh’s driving skills and also his over-enthusiasm to gain political mileage by attacking the Jagan Mohan Reddy government. Readmore!

“This half-knowledge fellow tried to cause harm to the lives of many people by driving a tractor without the required skills. He cannot run the tractor nor can he run the party,” YSRC leader and minister for civil supplies Kodali Nani, known for his pungent and foul-mouth comments, said on Tuesday.

He wondered why Lokesh had chosen to tour Kolleru region at this stage.

“Does anybody with brains tour Kolleru now? It has been more than 10 days since there were floods in the area. Where is the need to visit those areas now? It is like dogs barking six months after dacoits loot a house,” the minister said.

Nani gave a piece of advice for the TDP leaders.

“Just like Lokesh could not run the tractor properly and tried to sink it in Kolleru river, he would also sink the TDP into neck-deep waters. If anybody has brains in the TDP, they better get down from the TDP tractor and save their political career. The less we talk about Lokesh, the better,” the YSRC minister said.
