Game Changer: A Big Burden Of Rs 300 Cr

Game Changer, starring Ram Charan, is an extravagant project from the Ram Charan-Shankar-Dil Raju combination and marks the most ambitious venture from producer Dil Raju’s banner.

Shankar, renowned for his visual spectacles, has spared no expense, with crores of rupees being spent daily on the production.

Industry insiders estimate that the total budget, encompassing production costs, remunerations, interest, and publicity, exceeds ₹500 crores.

Initially, the film was tied to Zee TV for rights, but subsequent changes necessitated recalculations. So far, the film has recovered ₹200 crores from non-theatrical rights, leaving ₹300 crores to be earned from theatrical releases. Readmore!

To break even, the film needs to generate at least ₹120 crores from the Telugu states, similar to expectations for Devara. Additionally, ₹150–₹180 crores are anticipated from Tamil, Kannada, overseas, and Hindi markets.

Dil Raju plans to oversee self-distribution in the Telugu states, retaining control over the Nizam and Vizag regions while regular buyers handle other areas.

Strong collections from the Hindi market could secure profits, while solid overall performance will minimize financial risk.
