Finally, Jagan Decides To Overhaul Sakshi!

At last, YSR Congress party president and leader of opposition in Andhra Pradesh Y S Jaganmohan Reddy has decided to overhaul his media house Sakshi, particularly the print wing, from top to bottom and weed out people who have become a burden to the organization and also those who have turned callous and irresponsible.

According to sources from within the organization, a new chief executive officer will assume charge for the overall management of the organization from January, while Jagan’s wife Y S Bharati will step out of the managerial responsibilities of Sakshi.

The new CEO, Vinay Mahaeshwari, worked with Dainik Bhaskar Group as senior Vice President for Brand Marketing, till recently before quitting the same due to some internal issues. Once he takes charge, all affairs and activities would have to go only through the new CEO and everybody has to report only to him.

Present Executive Director K Ramachandramurthy was also expected to be shown the door, but because of his seniority, Jagan asked him to continue till his contract period will be over by September next. Readmore!

For the time being, Editor Vardhelli Murali will continue till an alternative is found. The name of managing editor of Sakshi channel Dilip Reddy was tipped to be its next editor, but it was not confirmed.

Jagan reportedly took these decisions during a recent meeting of heads of various wings of Sakshi on Thusday last. He reportedly expressed his unhappiness over the goings on in the media house.

“Because of the groupism in the organization, the paper is suffering very badly. The paper has been of no use to the organization with you people,” he reportedly said.

Bharati also reportedly said that the present team had become ineffective and she was unable to bear the team and hence, she decided not to come to the office hereafter.

Though Jagan has been receiving complaints about the goings on in Sakshi, the recent news report published in Sakshi forced him to decide on revamping the paper.

The report quoting Jana Sena Party chief Pawan Kalyan’s comment that Jagan was an inefficient fellow was prominently carried as a lead story in the page.
