YSR Congress Party president Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy recently visited the undivided Visakhapatnam district. During the visit, he attended wedding functions at the houses of several party leaders.
On this occasion, Jagan also held discussions with key party leaders about the current situation of the party in the district. He advised them to strengthen the party at the organisational level.
Jagan told the constituency leaders that party positions should be given to workers who are actively working for the party. He made it clear that those who work hard will get importance in the party.
He said the next three years will be very crucial for the party. Jagan asked leaders and cadres to take the party closer to the people and highlight the mistakes of the coalition government.
According to sources, Jagan told party leaders that public support for the YSRCP is gradually increasing and that there is also growing dissatisfaction with the coalition government. Therefore, he urged leaders to actively connect with people at the grassroots level.
Jagan also expressed confidence that the YSRCP will definitely come back to power in the next elections. It is said that his remarks boosted the confidence of party workers.
Party leaders believe that if the directions given by the YSRCP leadership are implemented properly, the party can regain its earlier strength in North Andhra.
