Liger is the film coming up in the direction of Puri Jagannath after iSmart Shankar. This is the first pan Indian film from Puri Jagannath.
The recent teaser and the publicity brought enough traction for the film. The deal for the Hindi version was closed much in advance. The Telugu deal was closed by Warangal Srinu and now the rate got fixed.
He bought the rights for all languages in all the areas of South India for Rs 70 Cr. But now, it is heard that Puri Jagannath is asking Rs 10 Cr as recovery advance from Warangal Srinu.
Besides, the Andhra region is going to be closed by Warangal Srinu for 30 Cr ratio (an idea to sell the entire Andhra region for Rs 30 Cr).
Vizag area was taken by Koratala's friend Sudhakar for Rs 7.5 Cr. East Godavari rights were bagged by Bharat Chowdary and the remaining areas are in discussion.
