Don't fall into YSRC trap, Pawan tells Jana Sainiks

Even as the Jana Sena Party led by Power Star Pawan Kalyan is getting ready for an alliance with the Telugu Desam Party led by former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu, gossip doing rounds on social media has pushed the Jana Sena party on the defensive.

For the last two days, there have been reports on social media that TDP Andhra unit president K Atchannaidu ruled out the possibility of any alliance with the Jana Sena Party in Andhra Pradesh.

“These reports are quoting Atchannaidu, who said, "We don’t need to go for any alliance with the Jana Sena. The TDP will fight the elections alone and win the majority of the seats in the next year’s assembly elections."

Naturally, the reports evoked strong reactions from Jana Sena Party workers and supporters of Pawan Kalyan, who have started making wild comments against the TDP in general and Atchannaidu in particular. Readmore!

However, Pawan Kalyan responded on Friday and made an appeal to the Jana Sena Party workers not to get provoked by such reports.

“This is a well-planned orchestrated campaign by the YSR Congress party. Let us not fall into its trap and come out with strong reactions,” he said.

He asked them not to get diverted from such a fake campaign.

“It is a deliberate attempt by the YSRCP to provoke us by playing a mind game. We have not made any commitment on alliances, nor should we believe in such a fake campaign,” he said.

Pawan said he would stand by his statement that he would not allow the split of the anti-establishment vote.

“Any decision will be taken keeping in view the future of the youth and the welfare of the state,” he said.
