Distributor's Comment On 'Mr Bachchan' Fate

Ravi Teja's "Mr. Bachchan," though released with some hype during the holiday season, shocked many distributors due to its poor opening.

“The film just managed to collect Rs 5 crore plus in net collections, despite the holiday season, and it has a long way to go,” says a distributor.

Moreover, the word-of-mouth publicity and public response have been discouraging, adding to the film's woes.

“Audience members who watched the film aren’t sharing any exciting moments, which is hurting its footfalls,” the distributor adds. Readmore!

Another distributor noted, "They relied completely on the heroine's beauty and exposure, neglecting the story and screenplay. That's a blatant mistake, evident even to the layman."

The footfalls are decreasing with each show, indicating a catastrophe for this film.

Speaking about the original film "Raid," the distributor said, “Ajay Devgan's movie was hard-hitting and thematic, while Harish tried to make it star-centric by adding more fights and songs, which failed to strike a chord with audiences in Telugu states.”

It looks, the excessive costs, a decline in Ravi Teja's drawing power, and weak content have led to the current fate of "Mr. Bachchan."
