Cool down Mr Pawan, this is politics, not cinema!

Despite being in politics for nearly a decade, power star and Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan doesn’t seem to have learnt the art of political criticism and difference between a counter political attack and personal attack.

Instead, Pawan Kalyan is under the impression that he can make headlines by using filmy dialogues threatening villains on the screen.

On Tuesday, the Jana Sena Party chief indulged in strong abuses against the YSR Congress party leaders for calling him “datta putrudu” (adopted son) and “package star” and commenting on his personal life.

Reacting to the criticism that he was taking money from the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Telugu Desam Party to abuse the YSRC, the power star threatened to beat such leaders. Readmore!

“I will beat such idiots (vedhavalu) with chappals if they call me package star,” he said, showing his slipper, before the media.

He also threatened to throttle the neck of the YSRC leaders if they continue to taunt him.

“All these days, you are able to escape because I have been maintaining restraint. If you continue to make false allegations, I will throttle your necks and kill you,” he warned.

Pawan Kalyan further said he would skin such leaders who used vulgar language against him and made personal attacks.

“They talk about my three marriages. You can also marry thrice. Who is stopping you? Why are you bothered about my three marriages? I am not like you, who have one wife and 30 stepneys,” he said.

Stating that he was not born and brought up in London and New York, the power star said he was born in Bapatla and had tasted hot chillies.

“I will crush you to death with a single hand,” he warned.

Reiterating that he would beat the YSRC leaders with chappals, Pawan Kalyan said he was ready for any street fight.

“Come on. I am ready any day for a fight from now on. Shall we fight with rods or hockey sticks?” he asked.

Well, such dialogues will evoke whistles and cheers from the audiences in theatres. But this is politics, Pawan. Such a talk doesn’t work. If you make such threats, you will be thrown behind the bars!
