Brother spits fire at Ayyanna; Jogi, Roja join attack

A day after the unruly attacks and counter-attacks between the YSR Congress party and the Telugu Desam Party leaders and cadres at the Vundavalli residence of opposition leader N Chandrababu Naidu, both the parties continued to spit fire against each other.

The TDP leaders lodged a complaint with the police against the alleged attack by the YSRC leaders on the residence of Naidu and took to their favourite media to launch a tirade against the YSRC in general and chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy in particular.

Not to be outdone, the YSRC leaders including Pedana MLA Jogi Ramesh who led the attack on Naidu’s residence and firebrand MLA from Nagari R K Roja lashed out at Naidu for encouraging his party leaders like former minister Ch Ayyanna Patrudu, whose comments against Jagan led to the latest clashes.

But the most pungent attack came from Ayyanna Patrudu’s own brother Ch Sanyasi Patrudu, who had defected from the TDP to YSRC last year. Readmore!

He said Ayyanna Patrudu was foul-mouthing the chief minister as he was unable to digest the people’s support to the Jagan government.

He said Jogi Ramesh had gone to Naidu’s residence only to register his protest against Ayyanna’s comments, but the TDP goondas attached the MLA and the party workers with stones and sticks, damaging his car.

“It is very clear that Naidu had instigated goonda leaders like Buddha Venkanna to create unnecessary tension, when the MLA was registering a peaceful protest there,” he alleged.

Sanyasi Patrudu alleged that his brother Ayyanna had grown into a mafia don by smuggling ganja from Narsipatnam.

“In the past, too, he made vulgar comments against woman municipal commissioner of Narsipatnam. We shall dig out his illegal activities and ill-gotten money and also disclose the share of Naidu in this booty,” he said.

He went on to say that Ayyanna always speaks vulgar language in a drunken condition.

“Yesterday, too, he was drunk when he made filthy comments against Jagan. I wonder he must also be under the effect of narcotics like ganja,” Sanyasi said.

He said there is absolutely no difference between a mad dog and Ayyanna Patrudu.

“If Naidu goes to the next assembly elections banking on such leaders, the TDP would face a much worse defeat than in 2019,” he added.
