BJP Top Brass Not Taking Kanna Seriously?

It looks like Bharatiya Janata Party national leadership appears to be taking it easy the complaints lodged by Andhra Pradesh state BJP president Kanna Lakshminarayana against the ruling YSR Congress party in the state, particularly its parliamentary party leader V Vijay Sai Reddy.

On Wednesday night, Kanna is learnt to have spoken to BJP national president J P Nadda and other senior leaders of the party, who told him to take Sai Reddy’s comments easy.

“Ignore his statements and do not get excited. You continue to fight for the cause of public during the lockdown period,” Nadda reportedly told him.

Apparently, Kanna reportedly complained to the Central leadership against a couple of BJP leaders who had joined hands with YSRC leaders to malign him and the party. Readmore!

“How can Sai Reddy get access to internal issues of the party? How could he make allegations even against senior leaders like Daggubati Purandeshwari?” he asked.

However, sources said there was not much response from the party high command over the complaints lodged by Kanna.

“Don’t fall into the YSRC trap. Let us be united and work for the party,” was the only message he had got from the centre.

What was more irritating to Kanna was the article written by BJP general secretary Ram Madhav in Jagan’s own media Sakshi daily paper in support of Modi’s steps to fight against Coronavirus. The article was published at a time when Kanna and Sai Reddy were indulging in a war of words.

“How can Ram Madhav write an article in Sakshi, at a time when YSRC leaders were slinging mud at Kanna and others? Instead of castigating the YSRC, Ram Madhav chose to write an article in Sakshi,” he reportedly alleged.

Apparently, Kanna has become a loner in the state BJP!
