Behind The Scene: BJP Leader Sold Out To KCR?

Former minister and popular Dalit leader of Telangana Mothkupalli Narasimhulu, who joined the Bharatiya Janata Party after deserting the defunct Telugu Desam Party, appears to be making moves towards the Telangana Rashtra Samithi.

This was pointed out by Manda Krishna Madiga, founder of Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi on Monday.

“It looks like Mothkupalli has lost his love towards Dalits and developed affection towards Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, who is trying to hoodwink Dalits with bogus schemes,” Manda Krishna said.

He wondered whether Mothkupalli was craving for posts and positions in the government and the ruling party, as was evident from the way the latter showered praises on KCR at the all-party meeting convened at Pragati Bhavan on CM Dalit Empowerment Scheme. Readmore!

Mothkupalli attended the meeting in his individual capacity, though the BJP announced it was boycotting the meeting. He was also all praise for the chief minister for coming up with schemes for the uplift of the Dalits.

“KCR has earned a permanent place in the hearts of the Dalits by taking up various schemes with the inspiration of B R Ambedkar. By holding this all-party meeting, you have honoured the self-respect of Dalits,” he said.

He appreciated KCR for taking immediate action in the case of lock-up death of a Dalit woman by announcing ex gratia to her kin and government job to her son.

“It has enhanced the confidence of Dalits in the TRS government. God bless you forever for striving for the uplift of Dalits,” he said.
