TDP Chief N Chandrababu Naidu is trying to woo Prime Minister Narendra Modi to reach out to the BJP leadership ahead of the 2024 general election.
He is determined to wrest power in Andhra Pradesh and is leaving no stone unturned to align with the BJP and the Jana Sena.
Naidu is confident that he can win the next election if he aligns with the BJP and Jana Sena. The BJP and Jana Sena are already in alliance, and the TDP chief is doing his best to join the team.
Tuesday’s interview with Republic TV was aimed at pleasing Narendra Modi and convincing the BJP leadership that he is a trusted ally in the two Telugu States.
He dedicated his interview only to showering praises on Narendra Modi, his policies, and his administration.
Naidu, who claims to be a visionary, perhaps for the first time, called Narendra Modi a visionary. He said that everyone should support Modi’s Vision 2047, regardless of politics, and that he is ready to work with Modi to take it forward.
While not directly admitting that he is ready to work with the BJP, Chandrababu Naidu told the TV that he is ready to work for Narendra Modi's policies. This implies that he is desperately trying to forge an alliance with the BJP and is doing everything possible to please them.
It remains to be seen if Narendra Modi will fall into the trap and take TDP into confidence once again!
