Why Kammas So Upset With Revanth Reddy?

An open letter of Kamma Samajam to Revanth Reddy has been in discussion since a day. First let us go through content in the Open Letter and then disuss.

Open letter went like this:

"Dear Chief Minister Revanth Reddy,

We, the Telangana Kamma Kula Samajam, are addressing you to seek answers on pressing matters that concern our community. We urge you to provide clarification on the following points: Readmore!

1. Don't you acknowledge the significant economic and social influence of the Kamma community in Telangana?

2. Isn't it true that the political prominence you enjoy owes much to the support of the Kamma community?

3. Have you overlooked the fact that your political ascent was facilitated by the backing of Shri Nara Chandrababu Naidu and the Kamma community?

4. Who appointed you as the president of Telugu Desam Party?

5. Is it not a fact that your leadership in Telangana owes much to the support of leaders such as Cherukuri Ramoji Rao, Andhra Jyoti MD Vemuri Radhakrishna, and other Kamma-affiliated media organizations?

6. Wasn't MP Renuka Chaudhary the first to align with you upon assuming the presidency of PCC?

7. Is it not true that the Kamma community in Telangana perceived Chandrababu Naidu's influence through your leadership?

8. Are you aware that the Kamma community holds significant sway in 37 out of 119 assembly constituencies in Telangana?

9. Have you forgotten that in the previous assembly elections, all Kammas in all constituencies in Telangana voted in your favor, ultimately leading to your appointment as Chief Minister?

10. Is it not a fact that a considerable number of ministerial positions, corporations, and officer roles were allocated to individuals only from your caste?

11. If corporations were announced for all castes excluding Kammas, was it not an act of disregard towards our community?

12. Are you cognizant of the fact that Khammam district is a stronghold for the Kamma community among the 10 joint districts of Telangana?

13. Is it not true that a disproportionate number of parliamentary seats were allocated to individuals from your Reddy caste in the recent elections?

14. Shouldn't the Kamma community, with its strong presence in the state, be entitled to at least one parliamentary seat?

15. Is it not impossible to find suitable candidates from our caste for seats such as Khammam, Chevella, and Malkajigiri, or is there a deliberate effort to impose your caste choice on us?

16. Regarding the Khammam MP seat, were considerations made solely based on caste affiliations rather than merit?

17. Do you have the courage to publicly justify why the Kamma community should support the Congress party, which you lead, in the upcoming elections?

18. Our Kamma community is not digesting the fact that you gave Khammam MP seat to actor Daggubati Venkatesh's viyyankudu Raghuram Reddy who is a viyyankudu of your enemy Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, but ignored to give that seat to a Kamma instead.

We emphasize that we will leverage every available opportunity to oppose and defeat the candidates of the Congress Party in the upcoming elections unless satisfactory answers are provided.

So, this serves as a warning to Revanth Reddy from Kammas. If Kammas claim their influence in Telangana as stated in point no. 8 above, it's a known fact that the majority of Kammas reside only in the GHMC area. However, it was BRS that swept all the seats in the GHMC region, not Congress. How, then, can Kammas take credit for Revanth's victory?

If Kammas wield such significant power to influence 37 constituencies in Telangana, why did Chandrababu pull his party out of the state?

Why do Kammas lament? Their Renuka Chaudhary, a Kamma, effortlessly entered the Rajya Sabha. Tummala Nageswara Rao was included in the Cabinet. Isn't he a Kamma? Kottagudem CPI ticket was given to Kunamneni Sambasiva Rao. Isn't he a Kamma? What else they want? Do they expect Revanth Reddy to call Chandrababu Naidu and give away his CM seat?

The warning from Kammas to Revanth Reddy is not only laughable but also pitiful.
