Why DVV Danayya Was Ignored And Insulted Again?

Rajamouli and his team ensured that DVV Danayya's name was kept out of the Oscar promotions by any means necessary, without even acknowledging him for the sake of it. Rajamouli led the way in promoting the film in the USA, spending his own money to do so.

However, the film industry recently held a congratulatory meeting at Shilpakala Vedika in collaboration with various unions, including the Writers Association, Film Chamber, MAA, Music Association, Director's Association, Producers' Council, and FNCC.

Despite this, DVV Danayya, the producer of RRR, was not present at the event. The choreographer, Prem Rakshit, who was responsible for the popular "Naatu Naatu" song, was also absent. Both Danayya and Prem Rakshit deserve recognition and feliciation on the dais. Additionally, the singer of the song, Rahul Sipligunj, was not seen.

It appears that these unions only felt it reasonable to felicitate only the winners. Fine! But why did unrelated people take credit on the dais? Why were the names of some unrelated people mentioned while tagging the credit to them? Readmore!

Keeravani mentioned that he only understood the real value of the Oscar after Ramoji Rao recognized it. He added that he wished to win the Oscar at least for the sake of Ramoji Rao. Thus he forcibly gave credit to Ramoji Rao unconvincingly.

Meanwhile, Rana Daggubati, who represented MAA, said that his grandfather, Rama Naidu, used to say that if any Indian film would win an Oscar, it would be a Telugu film. Thus, he attributed the Oscar credit to the deceased senior producer, his grandpa.

Where was MAA President Manchu Vishnu in the first place? Did he not feel the need to attend the event to felicitate the Oscar winners? Or was he not invited? If he was not invited, then how could the MAA logo be used without the President's approval? This was another topic that came up for discussion at the event.

In his speech, Paruchuri Gopala Krishna failed to give credit to Rahul Sipligunj, Ram Charan, Jr NTR, and Prem Rakshit, despite their significant contributions to the Oscar-winning song. He only praised Rajamouli, Keeravani, Vijayendra Prasad, Chandrabose, and Burra Saimadhav for their hard work, referring them to the Pandavas. However, no one understood the contributions of Saimadhav Burra and Vijayendra Prasad for winning this award.

With all this circus, the Telugu film industry and its union members exposed their narrow-mindedness, selfishness, and thoughtlessness by conducting this congratulatory meeting, which resembled a pale condolence meeting.
