"Gaayapadda Simham" is gearing up for release in May, featuring Tharun Bhascker, Faria Abdullah, and JD Chakravarthy in key roles. The film is directed by Kasyap Sreeivas.
According to industry sources, the film has been made on a modest budget, with relatively low remunerations for its cast.
JD Chakravarthy is said to have received around Rs 25 lakh, while Tharun Bhascker, who plays the lead, was reportedly paid Rs 50 lakh. These figures indicate a tightly controlled production cost overall.
The project is financially backed by Jio Studios, ensuring strong support, while Dil Raju has acquired the theatrical distribution rights.
With controlled spending and pre-release business already secured, the film is considered a safe venture, and theatrical earnings will likely add extra profits.
Another interesting update is the involvement of Sree Vishnu. He is rumored to play a significant role lasting about 40 minutes, making it more than just a cameo and adding further curiosity around the film.
