The harassment, she said, escalated over time. On one occasion during a festival, she alleged that a colleague pulled at her saree pallu in the office lobby, leaving her shocked and humiliated.

In her statement to the police, she also described repeated instances of physical misconduct by another employee, including unwanted touching, grabbing her hand, and placing his hand on her thigh and shoulder.

He allegedly made vulgar remarks and tried to force personal conversations, even during work hours and lunch breaks.

The victim further claimed that the harassment extended beyond the office, with the accused attempting to contact her on social media platforms after she blocked him.

According to investigators, multiple women employees have come forward with similar allegations, leading to the registration of several FIRs. A Special Investigation Team has arrested multiple accused in connection with the case.

TCS has stated that it follows a zero-tolerance policy towards harassment and has suspended the employees involved. The company has also initiated an internal probe with external oversight.

Meanwhile, the case continues to unfold, raising serious concerns about workplace safety and accountability in one of India’s largest IT organisations.
