BJP MP C M Ramesh said that the Central government would recall some of the IPS officers in Andhra Pradesh.
He alleged that the police officers in AP were acting as the ruling party activists and not as officers.
He made this statement in Vijayawada during his surprise visit to the city and accused the AP police of working against the service rules.
C M Ramesh, one of the close associates of TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu, claimed that the Union Home Ministry was closely watching the functioning of the AP police and it would recall some of the IPS officers.
If the Union Home Ministry had to recall any of the IPS officers from AP, C M Ramesh should know that the it should recall those IPS officers who turned blind eye to the TDP activists for hurling stones at Home Minister Amit Shah’s convoy.
The Union Home Ministry should also recall the IPS officers who turned deaf, dumb and blind when the protocol was ignored and black flags and balloons were left in the air in protest against Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to the state in 2019.
It was during Chandrababu Naidu’s regime in the state when the IPS officers have gone against the service rules despite the Prime Minister and the Home Minister were disrespected, dishonoured and the protocols ignored and violated.
C M Ramesh, who is said to be working in the BJP for the political benefits of the TDP chief, should now tell the people which IPS officer should be recalled from Andhra Pradesh.
