Mahesh Babu’s nephew Ashok Galla is debuting with Hero. Directed by Sriram Aditya, the film is coming to theatres on January 15th.
The youngster informs he made sure all his skills were in set like dances and fights.
“Sriram told me that we are making a commercial movie. I watched Chiranjeevi movies and I did few scenes in my own style.”
About the title Hero, Ashok explains the twist itself gives justification for the title.
“You’ll definitely feel it’s an apt title, after watching the movie.”
He’s all praises for his director saying, “Ashok makes commercial movies in his own style. His taking and editing are also completely different.”
About the character he played in the movie, Ashok informs he’s a middle-class youngster who dreams to become a film hero and he’s very arrogant in nature.
There’s a cowboy sequence in the movie. “I learnt horse-riding just a month before canning the portions of Cowboy.”
He says his mom and dad were initially against his decision of becoming an actor, as they were well aware of the life of actor and ups and downs in actors’ career.
Ashok clarifies his uncle Mahesh Babu didn’t give him any suggestions.
“I was telling Mahesh Babu about my interest in films. Once I started training, he believed that I was serious. He prepared me more on how to handle it as an individual, rather than giving acting tips.”
He also informed Mahesh Babu is doing fine and he may recover completely in another 2 to 3 days.
Ashok says Covid didn’t bother him, but the delay has surely upset him.
