Recently, an old advertisement featuring a young Samantha in an almost unrecognisable avatar has resurfaced online, sparking buzz among fans.
In the ad, she appears in a pink and yellow suit, dancing and posing with a beauty product. At first glance, it's hard to believe it's her.
A fan page shared the video on Instagram with the caption, “Samantha truly looks unrecognisable now. Did you know this is her video?” The post quickly garnered attention, with fans flooding the comments section.
One user wrote, “Samantha nai lag rhi hai [Does not look like Samantha].” Another commented, “This young Samantha looks older than the current Samantha.”
Others echoed the sentiment, saying, “Can't believe it” and “She's unrecognisable.”
Some fans speculated on her transformation, attributing it to changes in her face structure over time.
“It's just her eyebrows and face fat, which we generally lose after 18 or 20. Women look more beautiful after 30 if the skin is taken care of,” one user remarked.
On the work front, Samantha’s latest project, Citadel: Honey Bunny, premiered on Prime Video on November 7.
Directed by Raj and DK, the spy-action thriller is the Indian adaptation of the American series Citadel, starring Priyanka Chopra and Richard Madden. Samantha stars alongside Varun Dhawan, Kay Kay Menon, and Sikandar Kher in the series.
Looking ahead, Samantha will appear in Rakt Bramhand, a Netflix original also starring Aditya Roy Kapur. The OTT platform officially announced the project in July.
