The masses seem to be in favour of TRS in Sanath Nagar constituency in Hyderabad which is one of the keenly observed constituencies by political pundits.
GreatAndhra.com has interviewed cross sections of people to get the pulse of the voter in the constituency. Majority of the voters said they prefer to cast their votes for ruling TRS party.
Interestingly, they are not mentioning the name of the candidates much except one or two cases.
"Eesariki KCR ke veddam..Inko idellu chooddam," is the common opinion that is observed.
A hawker sounded disappointed by KCR not keeping the promise of providing double-bedroom houses to the poor. Still he said he would vote for the car, symbol of TRS. There are also people who want to vote for an Independent candidate.
A woman said she'd vote for congress (but congress didn't field its candidate as part of its alliance with TDP). However, majority's voice is in favour of TRS.
The constituency sees the fight between sitting MLA Talasani Srinivas Yadav of Telangana Rashtra Samithi and Telugu Desam Party’s Kuna Venkatesh Goud. Bhawarlal Varma from Bharatiya Janata Party is also in the fray.
In the last general elections, Talasani won on TDP ticket here but he later jumped to TRS.
The public voice is for KCR, less for the candidate.
