Watch: Crowds at Harish house trigger rumours!

The sudden turnout of heavy crowds at the residence of Telangana Rashtra Samithi MLA from Siddipet and former minister T Harish Rao at the Minister’s Quarters in Banjara Hills on Saturday morning triggered wide speculations.

Since morning, there was a sudden flow of large number of people from Siddipet flooding Harish Rao’s residence in tens of hundreds.

The entire Banjara Hills road leading to the Ministers’ Quarters witnessed traffic jams with surging crowds. They made a beeline before his house to meet him.

While many of them had actually come to meet Harish and greet him on the stupendous success of the TRS in general and his victory with a record majority in particular, there were also people who expressed dissatisfaction over the neglect of Harish Rao by the TRS leadership. Readmore!

Many felt that his uncle TRS president K Chandrasekhar Rao should have elevated Harish, rather than his son, as the party working president.

“We don’t mind KCR to become the next chief minister, but at least Harish should have been made the working president of the TRS. It would have given a balance to the party and the family. It appears KCR is promoting only his son at the cost of Harish who toiled day and night for the sake of the party,” a Harish Rao fan said.

However, Harish reportedly told his followers not to make an issue out of it now, as it would only harm his political career.

As such, there is nothing much for Harish to do now, except waiting in silence for the right opportunity. He is not position to raise any revolt against KCR or KTR for now.

That is precisely why Harish was among the first to congratulate KTR on his elevation as working president of TRS.

He told media that he and KTR had worked hand in hand during assembly elections and taken the party to power.

“I wish him a better future,” he said.
