Latest sensation of Telugu cinema, Vijay Deverakonda is flying high on the success of Geeta Govindam.
Producers are making a beeline for Vijay who is increasing his stardom with each outing. After scoring Rs. 60 crore hit with a movie worth Rs. 14 crore, producers are vying for his dates.
A few producers are reportedly offering huge amount for acquiring his dates from other producers.
Deverakonda signed two films for Mythri Movie Makers for Rs. 3 crore each before the release of Geeta Govindam.
He also signed a movie for Creative Commercials and made a vocal commitment with Geetha Arts and UV Creations joint venture.
Meanwhile, Mythri Movie Makers has increased his paycheck to Rs. 8 crore per film after the stupendous success of Geeta Govindam. They could have happily given him Rs. 3 crore per film as per prior agreement.
But Mythri Movie Makers is known to maintain good relations with their actors and directors. They have hiked Vijay’s paycheck according to his current market value.
No other young hero is making this much now. Even Nani’s remuneration is just around Rs. 6 crore.
At this rate, Vijay wouldn’t need much time to reach the league of superstars if he maintains this success and craze for a couple more films.
