Veteran MS Raju Coming With Divine Thriller 'Agadha'

Veteran filmmaker M. S. Raju is gearing up to present a pan India mystical divine thriller titled ‘Agadha’ in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi.

Known for his trendsetting productions like Devi, Manasantha Nuvve, Okkadu, Varsham, and Nuvvostanante Nenoddantana under Sumanth Arts and his distinct directorial voice, Raju has spent the last year working exclusively on this ambitious project, determined to offer audiences a completely new cinematic experience.

The promotions began in a creative and unusual manner. A humorous video showed two thieves entering Raju’s office to steal, only to get distracted by posters of his past films.

Their curiosity turns into fear when they notice one particular poster. That poster, later revealed, belongs to ‘Agadha’ and sets the tone for the film’s mysterious world. Readmore!

The first look poster adds to the intrigue. It features a dark cave lit by faint torches, an enormous mystical idol with twelve hands, and a girl standing before it with her back turned.

The setting, lighting, and character design hint strongly at the film’s divine and mystical theme.

Produced by Kasi Visalakshi Balusu under Sri Adi Varaha Productions, the film was shot for 85 days across elaborate sets and real locations. Nearly 45 minutes of VFX is planned, indicating the visual scale.

Music is composed by Mikkin Arul Dev. Cinematography is by Nani Chamidishetty. Editing is handled by Junaid Siddiqui, with production design by Rajeev Nair. Additional screenplay is by Chaitanya Vegi. It is written and directed by MS Raju.
