Last weekend saw the release of three films in North America: "Ambajipeta Marriage Band," "Kismat," and "Bootcut Balaraju." However, while the other two performed poorly, "Ambajipeta Marriage Band" delivered decent numbers.
The film grossed approximately $140k in its opening weekend. While not a significant figure, it can be considered a respectable opening for a Suhas starrer in the USA.
Suhas's previous film, "Writer Padmabhushan," had collected over $200k in its first weekend. In comparison, "Ambajipeta Marriage Band" had a lower opening, but it's important to note that this film addresses caste discrimination, making its performance noteworthy.
Meanwhile, "Hanu Man" added to its earnings over the weekend, bringing its total gross to $5.25 million.
Mahesh Babu's "Guntur Kaaram" concluded its entire run in the USA this weekend, with a total gross of $2.62 million.
