Nithin is riding high on the success of Bheeshma, one of the very few box office hits of this year. His upcoming film Rang De has finished its filming part and is gearing up for release.
Many OTT companies are vying for bagging the screening rights of this romantic entertainer directed by Venky Atluri.
Producer Naga Vamsi has been demanding Rs 38 Cr for total negative rights of Rang De and Zee Studios is willing to pay Rs 35 Cr.
Negotiations are currently going on and the deal may be sealed in the next couple of days.
Zee Studios will buy total negative rights of Rang De and sell the theatrical rights to third parties like they did for Solo Brathuke So Better.
Amid the 50% occupancy theatrical guideline owing to COVID-19 pandemic in India, producers are not keen on selling theatrical rights to conventional distributors.
