Top boss stalls secret land deal of AP-T'gana officials?

A secret land deal purportedly struck by a senior official in the Andhra Pradesh chief minister’s office with his counterpart in Telangana CMO is understood to have been stalled by a top boss of Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) recently.

According to sources, the Andhra CMO official, whose son got married to the granddaughter of a prominent BRS leader in a northern Telangana district a couple of years ago, eyed a 130-acre land on the outskirts of Hyderabad.

Using his proximity with the BRS leader, the Andhra CMO official had got the file moved in the Telangana revenue department with the help of a senior official in the Telangana CMO, apparently agreeing for a share in the property.

The entire exercise went on secretly and the file moved quickly from department to department, obviously due to pressure from the CMO official. Readmore!

Just before the file got the approval of the official concerned and the allotment of the land was to be made, it came to the notice of the top BRS boss, who incidentally is connected to the department.

Immediately, the boss put the entire file on hold and ordered an inquiry into the entire land deal.

“The CMO officials of both the states are now said to be lobbying to get clearance to the file, after completing the due formalities,” sources added.
