1) Taxiwala: Vijay Deverakonda's Taxiwala has survived against all odds and has turned out to be a hit at the box office.
The concept based thriller was made on a modest budget, which was recovered on its first day itself, as per producer’s claims.
Taxiwala had a fabulous first weekend at the box office and is looking solid to become another big hit (ROI) for the rising star Vijay Deverakonda.
Taxiwala is a smash hit in USA too. It recovered its investment in a day’s time and is eyeing at massive profits.
2) Amar Akbar Anthony: Raviteja’s triple avatar plus Sreenu Vaitla’s brand name raised hopes on Amar Akbar Anthony, but it turned out to be a damp squib.
After a decent first day, AAA came crashing down from its day 2 and is heading for a big flop.
It is second flop in a row for Mythri Movie Makers that scored hat-trick blockbuster prior to Savyasachi and AAA.
3) Roshagadu: Vijay Antony fails to get noticed again. He couldn’t register a single hit post Bichagadu in spite of releasing all of his recent movies in Telugu.
Roshagadu is a non starter at the box office with dismal collections all over.
4) Sarkar: Tamil superstar Vijay has finally scored a hit in Telugu with Sarkar. The political drama has entered into profit zone by the end of its first week and has added a few more to its tally in the second weekend.
Sarkar grossed over Rs. 200 crore worldwide proving Vijay’s stamina as a crowd puller.
5) Thugs of Hidustan: Aamir Khan’s high budget adventure drama set in pre independence era turned out to be a massive dud.
