1. Brahmastra: This much hyped film didn't live up to the expectations as per the content. But the collections have been thumping. This is the first big film at the Bollywood box office in the post-Covid era.
USA is recording a huge collection for this film making a whopping USD 4.5 Million in the first weekend itself.
The film went well in India as well making Rs 144 Cr in the first three days of release. This is received on par with that of Avengers series by Indian youth.
2. Oke Oka Jeevitham: This film released amidst no hype got positive response from the critics and audience.
The collections are not up to the mark in the first weekend in India and no post release publicity has come to rescue the film.
On the other hand the collections are pretty impressive at the USA box office with the total weekend gross summing up at USD300K.
Sharwanand played the lead while Amala Akkineni appeared as mother.
3. Karthikeya 2: The film grossed the collection of Rs 120 Cr at the box office and is still going good even after 28 days of release.
The makers claim that the film was made at a budget of around Rs 30 Cr and making a gross of more than three times only at the theaters is quite a big success.
The film proved to be the most profitable venture and kept the head of Tollywood high in the Bollywood circuit. Nikhil Siddharth got the pan Indian identity with this film.
4. Cobra: This dubbed film from Kollywood made its presence felt at the Telugu box office. But failed miserably due to its confusing content. Vikram played a dual role in the film.
The story is all about a mathematician genius Mathi who has another identity Cobra who commits intelligent crimes using Maths. Ajay Gnanamuthu directed the film but it didn't work.
5. Captain: This film starring Arya and Aishwarya Lakshmi in the direction of Soundar Rajan didn't ring any bells at the box office.
There is no awareness that a film of this sort was released. This is the story of a military officer which didn't go well with the audience. There is no talk of any sort either. It came and vanished within no time.
