Many new associations are coming up in Tollywood. Groupism is seen in almost every craft.
Initially the big producers those who are actively making films have felt uncomfortable to be in the same association where the not so relevant producers (those made films long back and sitting idly now just to enjoy the benefits of insurance) are present.
So, some of them have come out and formed as Active Producers Guild. Even in this association, majority producers are not happy to see some small and inactive producers.
But still they sail together for time being as long as the small producers nod their heads as per the decisions of top producers in the guild. This guild is becoming a decision maker now in the aspects of giving Ads to media, fixing the rates and scheduling the release dates etc.
Directors association also seems to be following the same formula. There many directors in the present Directors' Association those have made films long ago but holding some positions.
They are not even being informed about the meetings being held with Chief Ministers. Those meetings are happening in the leadership of Rajamouli, Trivikram and Koratala Shiva. There are indications that they may form an Active Directors' Guild and run the show.
It is known that the producers in Active Guild haven't resigned to the traditional Producers' Council. Similarly, the directors those wish to form an Active Directors' Guild are not in mood to lose their existing memberships.
The industry is diving into classes. The big and happening group as one. The small and not happening group as the other.
