The Times Now group has published a survey report projecting the number of seats that various political parties in India would win if the Lok Sabha elections were held today.
According to the survey, the BJP is expected to win between 292 and 338 seats, while the Congress is expected to improve its stake and win between 106 and 144 seats.
Mamata Banerjee's Trinamool Congress has the potential to win 20-22 seats. Regarding other parties, Naveen Patnaik's BJD is projected to win 11-13 seats, and other parties are expected to win 50-80 seats.
The survey says that YSRCP is expected to perform a clean sweep and win either 24 or 25 MP seats. As there are only 25 Lok Sabha constituencies in the state of AP, the party has a chance to score 100%, which is an improvement over the previous general election.
Overall, Times Now suggests that YSRCP has the potential to sweep the Lok Sabha election if it were held today.
