Vamsi Krishna who made directorial debut with a sleeper hit Dongaata and later directed a decent entertainer 'Kittu Unnadu Jagratha' is set to make a film based on real life story of a cold-blooded thief 'Tiger' Nageswara Rao.
Anil Sunkara will produce the movie under AK Entertainments banner. A star hero will be roped into play the role of 'Tiger' Nageswara Rao.
Briefing about ‘Tiger’ Nageswara Rao, he was one of the most notorious criminals in 70’s. He had earned spotlight for his knack to evade the police, even in custody. He got the name of ‘Tiger’ after managing to escape from a Chennai jail.
Nageswara Rao was ultimately shot dead by the police in 1987. Interesting thing is a portrait of the ‘Tiger’ hangs at the main door of his house in Stuartpuram in Andhra Pradesh.
Director Vamsi Krishna is said to be fine-tuning the script. Anil Sunkara is happy to invest high budget on the film to be made as a pucca commercial entertainer.
