This Movie Is Meant For Theaters: Sai Tej with Deva Katta

Solo Brathuke So Better will be the first major Telugu film to be out in theaters post lockdown.

India’s fight with the corona virus is not over yet, but everything is coming back to normal with some precautionary moves and safety measures. Even the movie viewing experience is back and people are already coming to the theaters.

“Solo Brathuke So Better is meant to be watched in theaters. It is a film made for the theatrical experience. It has all elements of a commercial entertainer, which is why I wanted it to be released in theaters,” said actor Sai Dharam Tej talking to Deva Katta.

The duo is currently working together on a message oriented mass film. They agreed to do this exclusive interview for us. Readmore!

“We too decided to release it on an OTT platform and struck a deal with Zee, but we had a clause that it should be released in theaters if they are open by the time of release. Luckily theaters are back in operation and we are releasing the film in a way it is meant to be. I strongly believe that audiences will come in big numbers to watch it in theaters,” Tej said.

It is a bold move but also a calculated risk as SBSB will have that advantage of the first film to come after a long break.

The film may take double the shows to collect a full theater’s gross given the restrictions. However, it will also be the only option for Telugu cinema lovers during the Christmas weekend.
