The Reason Why The YSRCP Leaders Are Living With Pride

Kotagiri Sridhar, the Eluru MP has given an exclusive interview to greatandhra.com sharing his insights about the political scenario and also about the prospective future of political world in the state.

When asked about why he has chosen to come into politics while having a peaceful life in the USA, Sridhar said, "I used to help my father Late Kotagiri Vidyadhara Rao garu during his campaigns. I developed many relations in the process. I understood the ethos of politics. I know I am fit for politics and I also have the dream to do something good for society. These two reasons made me show interest in politics. But it is not so easy to get a seat with mere interest. In 2016 YS Jagan Mohan Reddy called me to join him. I roamed the entire state three years before the actual elections. His call was my luck. I came to power eventually".

Saying about how it feels to be a YSRCP MP, Sridhar shared, "The YSRCP government has taken wonderful steps to make the schemes reach the citizens without any hassle. Gone are those days where people used to stand in front of MP's and MLA's offices for justice. We welcome that scenario. That's the new age politics. All the YSRCP MPs are living with pride now because of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's vision and mission. Wherever we go, people welcome us with respect and that is the reflection of perfect governance".

When asked about what actually is the power of an MP when everything is going on smoothly, Sridhar said with a smile, "How the power is being used is the matter. I have been striving to see a plastic free nation. Though many measures are taken the effect is not significantly seen. With my continuous urge and follow up, finally the government has given deadlines for some plastic products in India. An MP can bring that kind of change in the society with his reach".  Readmore!
