Tharun Bhascker's GPS: Attention-Grabbing

Tharun Bhascker has announced his next project with director Kasyap Sreenivas, which is now in its final leg of production, with only one song left to be filmed.

Pavan Sadineni, who is presently directing Dulquer Salmaan in Aakasamlo Oka Tara, is presenting the movie, while Saptaswa Media Works, POV Stories and Zee Studios are producing it.

The makers today announced the film’s title as Gaayapadda Simham through this poster that instantly grabs attention.

Drenched in red-and-white American-style graphics, the title poster showcases a racing aircraft, star motifs, and stripe patterns reminiscent of the US flag. The stamp-like finish hints at a story laced with adventure and irreverence. Readmore!

Adding to its quirky charm are a sharply drawn revolver, a caricature echoing Donald Trump, and a retro compass box- elements that point towards political satire, crime, and humour in equal measure.

With the cheeky tagline “Don’t Laugh! It’s a Serious Matter!” and the traiser dropping on February 9th, the setup is captivating.

Faria Abdullah and Maanasa Choudhary are the heroines in the film, with Vidya Sagar Chinta on cinematography and Sweekar Agasthi scoring the music.

Gaayapadda Simham looks poised to explore the maze of the American dream through a protagonist battling an unseen, unbeatable system.
