It will be an unending saga to expose the grey side of Chandrababu Naidu's rule. The latest discovery is the most unpardonable deed he committed by betraying 88 groups of Burrakatha artistes.
It is known that Burrakatha has been the oldest form of art which is surviving only by the government support.
The government gives them some opportunities to perform on various occasions. Promoting the schemes introduced by the government is also part of that. Their bills are to be settled from time to time.
But Chandrababu Naidu's government has kept a sum amounting to Rs 96 lakh (almost close to Rs 1 Crore) pending throughout his five years of tenure.
TDP government didn't even bother to hear the pain of these poor artistes for all those years. About 88 groups of artistes have been continuously following up for these pending bills.
Some Burrakatha artistes are expressing their anger filled agony with the lines like, "Thandaanaa! Siggu leda Chandrannaa?"
"From small to big, an estimate says that all such pending bills of artistes, contractors and suppliers of various sectors will sum up to Rs 40,000 Cr. His government cleared the bills of some near and dear immediately and kept rest in pending whatever be the pain of service providers", some government sources say.
Now, the Rs 40,000 burden is on the shoulders of YSRC Government.
