T'gana will become Rs 84 lakh cr economy in 10 yrs

IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu reaffirmed the state government’s ambitious vision of transforming the state into a trillion-dollar (₹84 lakh crore) economy within the next decade.

He emphasized that advancements in artificial intelligence (AI), semiconductors, and quantum computing will be the key drivers of this remarkable economic transformation.

Speaking at the conclusion of the IAmPhenom India conference, hosted by global AI leader Phenom at Hitec City on Friday, the minister underlined the importance of talent development in achieving this vision.

“With initiatives like the Young India Skills University, we aim to build a skilled workforce capable of meeting the demands of the future,” he said. “Companies like Phenom, a Hyderabad-based unicorn, play a critical role in empowering young talent and helping individuals realize their full potential.” Readmore!

The conference brought together over 500 HR professionals, chief experience officers (CXOs), and innovators to discuss transformative opportunities in AI and automation.

The minister highlighted Hyderabad’s emergence as a global innovation hub, with AI and automation driving revolutionary changes in the workplace.

Key speakers at the event included Olympic gold medallist Abhinav Bindra, Phenom president and co-founder Hari Bayireddi, government IT adviser Sai Krishna, and IT strategist Sreekant Lanka, among others.
