Telugu YouTuber and actor Prasad Behara was arrested following allegations of sexual harassment.
According to police reports, the victim filed a complaint accusing Behara of harassing her over several months.
She alleged that during a shoot, he behaved inappropriately and "touched her indecently." Behara was taken into custody and has been remanded for 14 days.
The woman, who acted alongside Behara in a web series, stated that they also worked together on the same YouTube channel.
She claimed the harassment began during the shooting of the web series when Behara behaved inappropriately.
On a separate occasion, he allegedly misbehaved again and, when confronted, verbally abused her.
On December 11, the victim alleged that Behara physically attacked her while she was returning home from a shoot.
This incident follows a pattern of controversies involving Telugu social media influencers.
Fun Bucket Bhargav faced charges of misconduct with a minor, YouTuber Shanmukh Jaswant was embroiled in drug abuse allegations, and influencer Vinay Shanmukh was accused of cheating and sexual abuse.
Prasad Behara, who gained popularity with the film Committee Kurrollu, is also part of the upcoming movie Bachhala Malli starring Allari Naresh. However, this arrest casts a shadow over his career as the case unfolds.
