Much awaited “Taxiwala” hit the screens all over Telangana and Andhra Pradesh yesterday.
Even though the entire unedited version of Taxiwala leaked into internet way before the actual release of the original cut, movie lovers, fans of all big stars rushed to the theaters and made it a big success at the box-office.
According to trade report, “Taxiwala” scored a whopping 10 Crores gross on the first day itself. It crossed ‘breakeven’ and expected to fetch the profits from the second day.
Two giant production houses GA-2 and UV Creations made this movie with the high production values within minimal budget.
Vijay Devarakonda created a separate kind of fan base within AP and Telangana with his previous movies ‘Pelli Chupulu’ and ‘Arjun Reddy’.
That also helped the Taxiwala to score big at the box office.
